Our Class 6 course follows the standard CBSE (NCERT) syllabus, and we adjust naturally for ICSE and State Board learners where the ordering or depth differs.

• Knowing our numbers — place value, large numbers, estimation and rounding.
• Whole numbers and playing with numbers — factors, multiples, HCF and LCM, prime and composite numbers.
• Integers — positive and negative numbers, the number line, and adding and subtracting integers.
• Fractions — proper, improper and mixed fractions; comparing, adding and subtracting.
• Decimals — reading decimals, place value, and the four operations.
• Basic geometry — points, lines, rays, angles, triangles, circles and simple constructions.
• Ratio and proportion — comparing quantities, unitary method.
• Introduction to algebra — using letters for numbers, forming simple expressions.
• Mensuration — perimeter and area of simple shapes.
• Data handling — organising data, pictographs and bar graphs.

ICSE learners often go a little deeper into sets and playing with numbers; several State Boards sequence topics differently and use regional textbook examples. We map our teaching to your child's actual textbook, so classwork and homework always match what school expects.
