What your child will learn

Our Class 1 course follows the standard CBSE (NCERT) syllabus, and we adjust naturally for ICSE and State Board learners where the ordering differs.

• Numbers up to 100 — counting, reading, writing and knowing which is bigger or smaller.
• Addition and subtraction — of small numbers, using objects, pictures and the number line.
• Shapes and space — flat and solid shapes, and words like inside, outside, above and below.
• Measurement — comparing length, weight and how much a container holds, in simple terms.
• Time — parts of the day, days of the week, and reading the clock at the hour.
• Money — recognising Indian coins and notes and their value in ₹.
• Patterns — noticing and continuing patterns of shapes, colours and numbers.
• Data handling — sorting objects and answering simple "how many" questions.

ICSE learners sometimes see more picture-based reasoning, and State Boards use their own textbook stories and examples. We map our teaching to your child's actual textbook, so classwork and homework always match what school expects.
