It is completely normal for a confident Class 7 child to slow down here — these chapters ask them to hold several ideas at once. Answer: 0.35 — 7/20 = 35/100 = 0.35.
From the Linear Equations worksheet. A father is 4 times as old as his son. If the father is 36, how old is the son?
Answer: 9 — 4x = 36, so x = 9.
From the Exponents and Powers worksheet. A single bacterium splits into 2 every hour. How many bacteria after 6 hours?
Answer: 64 — it doubles each hour, so 2⁶ = 64.
